“Build Your Startup” is an elective course for MSc students of all TU Delft faculties who dare to improve the world of tomorrow by building a business around their own innovative business idea.
hrough a combination of lectures, workshops and individual coaching sessions, students will be guided in gathering genuine customer insights, testing business models and prototyping minimum viable products until they have a promising value proposition that customers are willing to pay for. By the end of the course the student-entrepreneurs are expected to deliver a prototype, a pitch and a business implementation plan that aims to be ripe enough to start raising funds and join a startup incubator like YES!Delft, should they wish to do so.

EIDOS
Entrepreneurial Innovation by Design
EIDOS is an elective in the third year bachelor and runs for 10 weeks from beginning of February till mid April.
The course is split in two parts: 5 weeks of theory and 5 weeks to bring theory to practice by means of a consultancy assignment. Each team of 4/5 design students works on a challenge as brought to them by innovation professionals from industry. The theory concerns the various perspectives on organizational behavior seen from the perspective of innovation. This brings the student a coherent vocabulary on organizational life.
After the course the innovation professionals receive a one-day masterclass that addresses part of the theory that the students receive during the first 5 weeks.
